Glossary

This page can be used  to map the messages to the ‘To Task‘ in the page. Notification can only be given for the tasks, which are from across area.

The ‘Enable Notification’ page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered in this page.  The specified format is DD-MM-YYYY only.

From Component Name

The name of the component in which the ‘From Task’ is present.

From Activity Name

The name of the activity in which the ‘From Task’ is present.

From Task Name

The name of the task from which the document must be routed.

From Org. Unit Description

The description of the organization unit from which the document must be routed.

To Component Name

The name of the component in which the ‘To Task‘ is present.

To Activity Name

The name of the activity in which the ‘To Task’ is present.

To Task

The name of the task to which the document must be routed.

To Org.  Unit Description

The description of the organization unit to which the document must be routed.

Effective From

The date on or after which this routing will be effective.

Effective To

The date on or before which this routing will be effective.

Path ID

The ID of the path.

The system displays the following details in the multiline:

Notification Type

The different types of notification which are mapped to ‘From Task’.

Note: For the notification type "Escalation", the time after which the escalation message is to be sent must be specified in the "Elapse Time" field and a ‘Unit’ must be selected for it.

Enabled

Use the drop-down list box to enable or disable mapping of the notification to the task. Select "Yes" to allow mapping, else select "No".

Message ID

The ID of the message to be mapped to the ‘From Task’ (Alphanumeric, 5). Click on the lens icon near the ‘Message ID‘. This will launch the ‘Help on Message‘ page. The message Id can be selected from this page.

The system displays the following field in the multline:

Message Description

A detailed description of the message.

Send Message

Use the drop-down list box to specify the time frame requirement to send the message. The options include 'After', ’As Required’ and 'Before’. Selecting 'As Required' would enable you to send the message as per the notification type. Selecting  'Before' or 'After' would enable time frame to be specified (as 'Elapse Time' and 'Unit') before sending the message.

Elapse Time

The time after which the message must be sent (Time format).

Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the time unit. The system lists ‘Hours’, ’Days’, ’Months’, and ‘Years’ as options.

Note: If a value is specified in the "Elapse Time" field, "Unit" field cannot be empty.

 Email

Use the drop-down list box to send notification through email. Select "Yes" to allow the message to be sent by email else select "No".

Fax

Use the drop-down list box to send notification through fax. Select "Yes" to allow the message to be sent by fax else select "No".

Mobile

Use the drop-down list box to send notification through mobile phone. Select "Yes" to allow the message to be sent by mobile phone else select "No".
