The “Operational Parameters” tab page appears by default, on launch of the “Edit Terms of Execution” page. This section enables you to set various parameters, like quotation, estimation for work execution operation.

The system displays the following fields:

Category

The category for which you wish to set operational parameters, which could be Commercials, Execution, and Logistics.

Element

The operational elements for which you wish to set operational parameters.

Description

A textual description of the element for which you wish to set operational parameters.

Value

The value of the parameter. Mandatory.

The system displays the following fields:

Value Selected

The parameter of the element whether “Required” or “Not Required” Allowed, Not Allowed, Preferred, Not Preferred, Allowed with Approval  based on the “Value” specified.

Notes

A brief note on the operational parameter defined.

The system displays the following fields:

Permitted Values

The permitted value of the element for which you wish to set operational parameters. Permitted Values for operational parameters.

Auto Hold?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the further work related to a customer is put on hold. You can select from the options “Yes” or “No”.

Commercial Hold

Use the drop-down list box to specify the hold code associated with the customer. Example, Hold in executing the work due to delays in parts supplied by the customer to reach your repair shop. The system lists all the “active” entities of “Entity Type” Hold Codes as defined in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

Hold Comments – Commercial

Any additional information pertaining to the commercial hold.

Internal Hold

Use the drop-down list box to specify the hold code associated internally by you. Example, Hold in executing the work due to non-availability of parts in your inventory.

Hold Comments - Internal

Any additional information pertaining to the internal hold.

Note: Ensure that at least one record is available in the multiline.
