The “NTE Pricing & Exclusions” tab page enables to set a Not to Exceed limit on the total value of the jobs. It also enables the Tasks/jobs that are not considered within the NTE limit to be defined in the Contract.

Material Price

The price incurred for using the material to service the object.

Note: Ensure that the price specified in this field is positive.

Labour Price

The price incurred on the labour hours used for servicing an object.

Note: Ensure that the price specified in this field is positive.

Other Res. Price

The price incurred on the use of other resource miscellaneous in nature, like for example extra oil used on servicing an object.

Note: Ensure that the price specified in this field is positive.

Total NTE Price

Total price of material, labour and other resource incurred on servicing an object which is not to be exceeded. Data entry in this field is Mandatory if no values are specified in any of the “Material Price”, “Labour Price” or “Other Res. Price” fields.

Ensure the following:

  •  The price specified in this field is positive.

  •  The total of Material Price, Labour Price and Other Res. Price is equal to the price specified in this field.

Effective From

The starting date from which the defined price is effective. Mandatory

Note that the date specified in this field must fall within the effective period of the contract.

Effective To

The ending date until which the defined price is effective.

Note the following:

  • The system updates the “Effective To” date of the contract in this field when the Revision # 0.

  • The system updates the “Effective From” date of the contract minus 1 in this field when the existing “Effective From” date is modified.

Eff. Ref.

Use the drop-down list box to specify the object for which NTE exclusions is defined. The system lists the following options:

  • Part Effectivity - Select this option if you have specified part as the object effectivity in the “Part Effectivity” tab of the “Manage Customer Contract” business component .

  • Aircraft Effectivity - Select this option if you have specified aircraft as the object effectivity in the “Aircraft Effectivity” tab of the “Manage Customer Contract” business component .

  • Defined Work Scope - Select this option if you have specified workscope as the object effectivity in the “Part Effectivity” tab of the “Manage Customer Contract” business component.

  • Defined Exclusions - Select this option if you have specified exclusions as the object effectivity in the “Inclusions & Exclusions – Task” tab of the “Manage Customer Contract” business component.

Eff. Ref. Code

Use the drop-down list box to specify the code corresponding to the object effectivity reference.

NTE Eff. Code

The NTE code corresponding to the effective NTE Exclusion.

Basis

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis for NTE exclusions. The system lists the options “Exclude” and “Exclude with Limit”.

NTE Excl. For?

Use the drop-down list box to option for which the NTE exclusion is defined. The system lists the options “Task”, “Resources”, “Materials” and “Ext. Services”.

NTE Excl. Limit

The limit set for the NTE exclusions.

Internal Notes

Any note pertaining to the NTE exclusions.

NTE Excl. Description

The description pertaining to the NTE exclusions.

Remarks

Any comments or additional information associated to the NTE exclusions.

Note: The system allows launch of the ‘NTE Scrap/Repair Rates for Engine’ only if the Sale Contract is for a part component that belongs to the component type ‘Engine”
