This screen enables you to define NTE scrap rates in Contract.

Effectivity Level

Use the drop-down list box to specify the effectivity level of the definition of Scrap rates . The system lists the following options:

  • Part Effectivity

By default the system leaves this field blank.

Eff. Code

Use the drop-down list box to specify the effectivity code for  the definition of Scrap rates . The system lists al the part effectivity codes of Parts with Component Type as 'Engine' as defined in ‘Part Effectivity’ tab

Engine Part #

The number identifying the engine part.

Ensure the following:

  • The value entered in this column is a valid Part # with Component Type as 'Engine'.

  • The value entered in this column is already available in the Part Effectivity tab either as 'Part' or as 'Part Group'.

Blade Part #

The number identifying the blade part.

Ensure the following:

  • Either the Blade Part # value or the Blade Part Group must be specified. The value specified in the given Blade Part # is not available in Blade Part Group of any existing multiline.

  • The values in column 'Blade Part #' in the multiline is a unique value.

Note: Ensure that the values entered in the Engine Part # and Blade Part # combination is already defined in Manage Engine Blades/Vanes Std. Qty.' screen in 'Aircraft' business component under the 'Configuration Management' business process

Blade Part Group

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part group against which the repair limit (or) scrap limit to be defined.

Ensure that the values in column 'Blade Part Group' in the multiline is not repeated.

Repair Limit (in %)

Indicates the repair  limit for the Blade Part# / Blade Part Group in percentage

Ensure that the value entered in the field, in percentage is within the range of 0 to 100 with two decimal places.

Scrap Limit (%)

Indicates the scrap limit for the Blade Part # / Blade Part Group in percentage

Ensure that the value entered in this field, in percentage is within the range of 0 to 100 with two decimal places.

Any notes specified by the user against the definitions.
