This page enables you to define mark-up percentages.

The system displays the following fields:

Ref. Doc.  

Type The type of reference document for which markup is to be defined

Ref. Doc. #

The number identifying the reference document.

Customer Name

 Indicates the name of the customer with whom the contract is entered.

Ref. Doc. Status

 Indicates the current status of the contract.

Eff. Ref.

 

 

 

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reference for which pricing is defined. The system lists the following options if Ref. Doc. Type is Contract:

  • Part Effectivity

  • Aircraft Effectivity

  • Work Scope

  • US Defense - Work Scope

  • Excl. & Incl. Tasks

  • Other Direct Charges

Eff. Ref. Code

Use the drop-down list box to specify the code corresponding to the effectivity reference. Mandatory. The system lists all the Effectivity Codes as defined in the tabs in which the 'Pricing Basis' is selected as 'Cost Plus”.

Leave this field blank if “Other Direct Charges” is specified as the Eff. Code.

Pricing Element

Use the drop-down list box to specify the pricing element for which you wish to define markup. Mandatory. The system lists all the pricing elements as defined in the 'Price Defn. For' column in the respective tabs in which the pricing basis for the  'Eff. Ref. Code is selected as 'Cost Plus'.

By default the system leaves this field blank.

Mark-Up Basis

Use the drop-down list box to basis for Mark up. Mandatory. The system lists the following options:

  • Flat Value   

  • Percentage based

By default the system leaves this field blank.

Mark-Up Value

 

 

 

The Mark up value or % to be applied for the computation of Cost Plus mark up value for the job if the pricing basis is selected as ‘Cost Plus’.

Ensure that the value entered in this field is as follows:

  • If Markup Basis is “Flat Value”, enter a positive integer greater than zero

  • If Markup Basis is “Percentage Based”, enter a positive integer within the range of 0 to 100

Notes A brief note on associated pricing for the particular object effectivity.

Eff. From

The starting date from which the defined pricing is effective for the given object effectivity

Eff. To

The ending date up to which the defined pricing is effective for the given object effectivity.

Ensure that the date entered in this field is a later date than the Effective From Date.
