Viewing errors and entering comments
Use this page to view the errors that the system encountered during employee schedule generation. You can enter comments beside each error, as well
From the “Generate Employee Schedule” page, select the “Error Log” link.

The system displays the following fields from the previous page

Select the type of error to view, from the “Error Type” drop-down list box
The multiline displays all the errors belonging to the error type you selected. Given below is a description of the multiline fields.

Select the ‘Save’ pushbutton
Select the “Cancel ”pushbutton to cancel the page.

Viewing Errors: Through the "Error Log" page, you can view the errors that the system encountered during processing. Generating the employee schedule is an example of batch processing, where the system carries out a computation or a series of computations on a batch of employee records.
The errors in the records could be
Critical
Warning
If the error is "Critical", the system aborts the entire processing. You are to identify the error through the "Error Log" page, rectify the error and reset the process. If the error is "Warning", the system processes all the records in the batch except the erroneous record.
Entering and Editing Comments: You can also enter comments against a specific error, and save them.
