Getting help on employee - payset mapping basis
Select the help icon beside the “Code” field.
The “Help on Basis” page appears.
The following fields from the previous page are displayed.
Payset Definition Unit |
The organization unit for which the employee-payset mapping will be applicable |
Basis |
The basis on which the system will automatically map employees to paysets. The basis will be one of the following: Grade, Grade set, Employment Unit, Job or Business Unit. |
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Code |
To view the codes under “Basis”, which contain specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the codes. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, If the basis is Grade and you type in Exe*, the system will search for those Grade codes that start with Exe Other examples are *xe and E*e | |
Description |
To view the code descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the code descriptions. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values. If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected organization unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the records that satisfy the search criteria specified.

The code that uniquely identifies the organization unit to which each code belongs. |

The description of the organization unit. |
Code |
Each code under “Basis”, that satisfies your search criteria |
Description |
The description of the code |
From the multiline, select a code by checking the “Select” box contained in the code record.
Select the “OK” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
The code you selected appears in the “Code” field of the previous page.
