Perform Data Transfer– A summary of the activity.

Data Transfer: This component is used to trigger the actual data transfer. If the data transfer is not scheduled to take place automatically in the “Data Transfer Setup” component in “Define Interface” screen, the actual data upload/download is initiated using this module.  You can select an interface group and all the interfaces defined under the group are listed You can select one or more interfaces and perform the data transfer. You can specify the parameter values for downloading of data from the application tables to the ASCII files. Through this activity you can also view the interface details throught the data hyperlink in the multiline. You can also view the parameters for download, procedures for upload and user permissions. You can then process the data transfer. The data transfer process for all the interfaces selected begins independent of each other. The data transfer process for any  individual interface can be aborted or reset  in the View data transfer setup activity. See Interface Utility Process

A  unique session  id is created for each session of data transfer initiated.
