Viewing Form 24
Select the “Form 24” hyperlink from the left pane.
Form 24 page appears.
The system displays the following detail.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Specify the following details.
Tax Report Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the tax report unit in which the reports must be generated. Tell me more |
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the employment unit to which the employee is mapped. It lists all the employment units mapped to the tax report unit. |
Tax Year |
Select the tax year for which the report must be generated. It displays all the tax years defined in the “Create Tax Year” activity of Indian tax setup component. |

Specify the employee code from which the report must be generated |
Help facility available | |
Employee code To |
Specify the employee code until which the report must be generated |

Form 16 Rule |
The rule name based on which the rule is generated |
To select display format options
Select the following in the “Display Criteria” group box.
Employee Name Display Format |
From the drop down list box, select an option in which the employee name must be displayed. By default, the log in user’s name display format is displayed. For example, If the employee name is “Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy”, if you select “L. First Middle” indicates R. Vijaya Bhaskara” “L. M. First”, the system displays as Reddy Bhaskara Vijaya “First Middle Last” indicates Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy “L. First Middle” indicates R. Vijaya Bhaskara |
Date Format |
By default, the login user’s date format is displayed. You can select an option from the drop-down list box. |
Sort by |
Use the drop down list box, to specify the order in which the entries in the report will be sorted. By default, “Employee Code” option is displayed. |
Then by |
From the drop-down list box, select the second option in which the information must be displayed. |
Then by |
From the drop-down list box, select the third option by which the records must be sorted in the report. |
Select “Form 24” hyperlink.
“Form 24” report is displayed.
