Job levels like Vice President, General Manager and Divisional Manager are defined in every organization unit. The definition parameters like the code and description for the same job level may be different in different organization units. For example, the job level Divisional Manager can have different definition parameters like the code and description, in different organization units. Benchmark Job Levels are created to facilitate identification of equivalent job levels throughout the organization unit group
Benchmark Job Level refers to the hierarchy of the job levels in an organization unit group. It is a superset of job levels within an autonomous logical group. All the job levels defined in different organization units are mapped to different benchmark job levels, as this information is very useful for the purpose of analysis, consolidation and transfers.
Editing a Benchmark Job level: Through this activity you can change the description of the Benchmark Job Level in any chosen language. This involves, selecting the hierarchies unit group for which the benchmark job level is to be added and selecting the required benchmark job level record. You can now edit the details pertaining to the benchmark job level.
If the Benchmark Job level is not associated to job level of the interacting unit structure , benchmark job level can also be deleted .
