Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code or the employee name. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the employee code or employee name contains. Optionally, you can also enter the “Plan code”, “Plan description, Date of joining from or date of joining to. You can also specify the participation dates and “coverage dates” fields, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. Apart from specifying above fields, you can also narrow the search by specifying the type of life event. The system fetches the employee records that match the combination of search criteria specified. To increase the probability of finding the closest matching records, you can specify values for as many details as possible.
In the search criteria, you can also specify whether you would like to view all the plans eligible for an employee or all plans that are eligible for the employee and are open for enrollment.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Employee Code |
The unique employee code of the employee. To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. To view all the employee names containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Plan Code |
The unique code that identifies a plan. To view all the plan codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these plan codes. |

Use the fields below to specify dates to indicate the probable period during which the employee has joined.
Date of Joining From |
The date on or after which the employee joined in. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of employees who have joined on or after this date. |
Date of Joining To |
The date before which the employee has joined. For example, if you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches the records of employees who joined till this date. |
Note: To indicate the probable period in which the employee has joined, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of employees who joined during the period.
Use the fields below to specify dates to indicate the probable period during which the plan is open for enrollment.
Participation From Date |
The date on or after which the plans are open for enrollment. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches list of all the plans that are open for enrollment the plan after this date. |
Participation To Date |
The date till which the plan is open for enrollment. For example, if you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches the records of all the plans that are open till the specified date. |
Note: To indicate the probable period in which the plans are open for enrollment, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of employees who joined during the period.
You can also specify the date from which the employee is covered in the plan.
Coverage From Date |
The date from which the employee is covered under the plan. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of employees who have been covered in the plan from this date. |
You can also specify the life event that will drive a plan.
Life Events |
From the “Life Events” drop-down list box select the event that will drive the plan. The drop-down list box will display list of all the life events that are applicable to various plans. These are defined in the “HRMS General Masters” component. |
Beside the above-mentioned criteria, you can also specify the types of plans that must be displayed by the system.
All Plans |
Select the “All Plans” check box, to indicate that all the plans for which the employee is eligible will be displayed in the search result. |
Plans Open for Enrollment |
Select the “Plans open for Enrollment” check box to indicate that only those plans are displayed by the system that are opened for enrollment. |
Exception |
Select the check box to indicate that the employee can enroll in a plan even if he is not eligible for it. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values. If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected benefits enrollment unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Plan Code |
The unique code of the plan. |
Plan Category |
The category to which the plan is mapped. |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the employee joins |
Participation From Date |
The date from which the employee participated in the plan. |
Participation To Date |
The date until which the employee participated in the plan. |

The date from which the employee will be covered in the plan. |

The name of the employee |

Status |
The system will display “Enrolled” if the employee is enrolled in the plan. Otherwise the system will display with a blank value. |
From the multiline, select the employee that must be enrolled in a plan, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the plan type to which the employee must be enrolled by selecting the hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
Select the “Enroll in Health Plan” hyperlink to go to the Enroll in Health Plan” page.
Select the “Enroll in Life and AD and D Plan” hyperlink to go to the “Enroll in a Life and AD| D Plan.
Select the “Enroll in Disability Plan” hyperlink to go to the “Enroll in a Disability Plan”.
