Part #

The code identifying the part for which you wish to view the count and location details (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part number is “Active” as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

To search for a part

Part #

The code identifying the part for which you wish to view the count and the location details (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part number is “Active” as defined in the “Part Administration” business component. You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Manufacturer Part #

The code identifying the manufacturer part number (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part numbers that have manufacturer part numbers similar to the value entered here.

Prime Part #

The code identifying the prime part number (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part numbers with prime part number similar to the value entered here.

Key Word

The key word of the part for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the key word in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part numbers that have key words similar to the value entered here.

Part Description

The description of the part for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part numbers that have part description similar to the value entered here.

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the part for which you wish to view the details. The system provides the options “Raw Material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Miscellaneous”, “Consumable” and “Kit”. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Part Control Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the method by which the part is controlled in the warehouse. The system lists the options "Lot Controlled", "Serial Controlled", "Lot & Serial Controlled" and "None". The system leaves the field blank by default.

Part Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the part for which you wish to view the details. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes of the type “Part Category” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the  “Part Administration” business component, and leaves the field blank by default.

Planning Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the planning type of the part. The system lists the options “Reorder Level”, “Min - Max” and “None”, and leaves the field blank by default.

Display Options

Use the drop-down list box to select the display option to retrieve parts in the multiline. The system provides the following options:

·          Prime Parts Only – Select this option to display only the prime parts in the multiline.

·          Non-Prime Parts Only – Select this option to display only non-prime parts in the multiline. 

The system leaves the field blank by default.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

A textual description of the part.

Prime Part #

The number identifying the prime part.

Key Word

The keyword used to easily identify the part.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Part Control Type

The method by which the part is controlled in the warehouse.

Part Category

The category to which the part belongs.

Planning Type

The planning type of the part, which could be “Reorder Level”, “Min - Max” or “None”.

Manufacturer Part #

Selecting a part number for viewing its details – An overview

View material count and location information - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to search and select a part number to view its count and location details. If you know the part number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the part number issued by the manufacturer, the description of the part, the key word identifying the part, the type of the part, the value of the part based on the valuation method defined, category of the part and planning status of the part. The system retrieves all the part numbers based on the search criteria entered.
