This page allows you to view the shelf life renewal history of the parts for which it is applicable.

The “View Shelf Life Renewal History” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format as defined in the organization.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:

Location

The location of the part for which you wish to view the shelf life renewal history.

Component #

The code identifying the component ID.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which you wish to view the shelf life renewal history.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Serial #

The number identifying the serial number of the part.

Lot #

The number identifying the lot to which the part belongs.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Part Category

The category to which the part belongs.

Designed Shelf Life

The designed shelf life of the part, as defined in the "Part Administration" business component.

Expiry Date

The date of expiry of the part-serial-lot combination.

The system displays the following in the “Shelf Life Renewal History Details” multiline:

Note: If the part is renewed more than once, then the records are displayed in the multiline, based on the  “New Expiry Date”.

Last Expiry Date

The previous expiry date of the part-serial-lot combination.

New Expiry Date

The new expiry date of the part-serial-lot combination.

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse.

Updated By

The name of the login user who updated the shelf life of the part.

Updated Date

The date on which the shelf life was updated.

Shelf Life Renewal Comments

Additional remarks pertaining to the renewal of shelf life of the part.

Ref. Doc Type

The type of the reference document. The system displays “Manual” if the shelf life of the part is updated in the current business component, and displays “Goods Receipt”, “Repair Receipt” or “Stock Return”, if the shelf life of the part is updated through the corresponding business components.

Ref. Doc #

The number identifying the reference document.

Note: Ensure that at least one record exists in the multiline.

Note: You can view only those parts whose “Shelf Life Extendable?” is set to “Yes” in the “Part Administration” business component.
