The “Manage Options for Additional Information” page appears.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category for which the Additional Inventory Information is recorded. The system lists the value “Inventory Additional Info”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Supplementary Code Details” multiline:

Supplementary Code

The supplementary Code of the Additional Inventory Information. The system displays the following values:

§  Identifier-1, Identifier-2, Identifier-3, Identifier-4 and Identifier-5

§  UDD Combo-1, UDD Combo-2, UDD Combo-3, UDD Combo-4 and UDD Combo-5.

§  UDD Text-1, UDD Text-2, UDD Text-3, UDD Text-4 and UDD Text-5.

§  UDD Date-1, UDD Date-2, UDD Date-3, UDD Date-4 and UDD Date-5.

Supplementary Description

The description of the Supplementary Code.

Applicable?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the supplementary code is applicable to define Additional Inventory Information. The system lists the values “Yes” and “No” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. For the Supplementary Descriptions which are defined Applicable as “Yes” will be loaded as Columns in the “Manage Additional Inventory Information” screen along with the values as Caption Name.

Mandatory?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the supplementary code is mandatory to define Additional Inventory Information. The system lists the values “Yes” and “No” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Auto Gen. Required?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the Identifier #’s is automatically generated. The system lists the values “Yes”, “No” and “Not Applicable” along with a blank value and this Auto Gen. Required? is only applicable for Identifier-1 to identifier-5. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering Type of the Supplementary Code. The system lists all the Standard numbering types for which ‘Applicable’ is set as 'Yes' in the “Map Transactions” screen in “Document Numbering Class” business component, along with Value Manual. The System defaults the value defined as Default Numbering Type.

The system displays the following fields in the “Supplementary Code Details” multiline:

Entities Associated?

Indicates whether the Entities are associated for the Supplementary Description in Associate Entities screen and this is only applicable for Identifier-1 to Identifier-5

Created By

The name of the user who created the Options for Additional Information.

Created Date & Time

The date and time at which the Options for Additional Information was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who modified the Options for Additional Information recently.

Last Modified Date & Time

The date and time at which the Options for Additional Information was modified recently.

Note: UDD Combo values defined as ‘Applicable’ in “Manage Options for Additional Information” will be loaded in the Category Combo of “Create Quick Codes” screen in “Stock Maintenance” business component (Values defined in Supplementary Description column for the UDD Combo-1 to UDD Combo-5).
