Managing Additional Inventory Information
Select the “Manage Additional Inventory Information” under the “Stock Maintenance” business component.
The “Manage Options for Additional Information” page appears.
Enter the following field in the header section.
Search By |
Part # - The number identifying the part. Serial # - The serial number of the part. Mfr. Lot # - The manufacturer lot # of the part. Receipt # - The number identifying the Receipt. Warehouse # - The number identifying the warehouse. |
Additional Info. Req.? |
Select the check box to retrieve the Parts for which the Additional Inventory Information is Required and Not saved based on the “Associate Entities” screen along with the Saved Part Details in this screen. |
Click the “Advanced Search” link to perform advance search criteria. The Advanced Search pop-up appears.
Click the “Go” pushbutton to retrieve the results based on the search criteria entered.
Note: The system displays all the Identifiers and User Defined Details that are set as “Applicable” in the “Manage Options for Additional Information” screen as columns in the multiline and Column Caption will be displayed as values defined in the “Supplementary Description” column in Manage Options for Additional Information.
Enter the following field in the “Search Results” multiline:
Part # |
The part # for which the Additional Inventory Information is recorded. Mandatory. Help facility available. Smart Search enabled. |

Enter the following fields in the multiline.
Serial/Lot # |
The serial #/Lot # of the part. Mandatory. Help facility available. |
Mfr. Lot # |
The manufacturer lot # of the part. |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
In Stock? |
Indicates whether the part is available in stock or not which could be “Yes” or “No”. |
Source Doc. # |
The number identifying the source document. |
Source Doc. Type |
The type of the source document. |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Last Updated Doc. Type |
The type of the document that was recently modified. |
Last Updated Doc. # |
The number of the document that was recently modified. |
Created By |
The name of the user who created the Additional Inventory Information. |
Created Date & Time |
The date and time at which the Additional Inventory Information was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who modified the Additional Inventory Information recently. |
Last Modified Date & Time |
The date and time at which the Additional Inventory Information was modified recently. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to record the Additional Inventory Information.
Select the “Inquire Stock Availability” link at the bottom of the page to view the stock availability details of a selected part in the inventory.
Select the “View Part Supply Chain Performance” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the current supply and demand scenario for a part.
