Analyzing MTBUR levels for parts
Select the “Analyze MTBUR for Parts” link under the “Reliability Analysis” business component.
The “Analyze MTBUR for Parts” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to find the part discrepancy that you want to modify or update or flag off reliability reporting:
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
Reliability Fleet # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the reliability fleet of which you want to analyze the MTBUR levels. The list displays all the Active reliability fleets created using the "Manage Reliability Fleet Definition" activity. The multiline displays the removal details of parts pertinent to aircraft in the reliability fleet. |
Part # |
The identification number of the part. The multiline displays details of the part that you specify here. |
Part Description |
The short description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). The multiline displays the part with descriptions similar to the one you specify here. |
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type. The system displays the following values: Raw Material, Component, Expendable, Tool, Miscellaneous, Consumable and, Kit. The multiline displays parts of the type you specify here. |
Part Group |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the classification of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). The list displays the part groups with attributes Purpose set as “Reliability” and “Controlled” set to “Yes” in the Part Administration component. |
ATA # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the ATA of the part. The list displays the following values: 'ATA #', 'System ATA #', 'Major System ATA #' The multiline displays parts associated with the value that you specify here. |
Unscheduled Removal Rate (%) > = |
The unscheduled removal rate reported for the part. The multiline displays all the parts against which the reported unscheduled removal rate is greater than or equal to the rate you specify here. |
Part Cost > = |
The cost of parts. The multiline displays all the parts that cost greater than or equal to the cost you specify here. |
MTBUR < = |
Use the drop-down list box to select the pre-set MTBUR limits. The list displays the following values: Alert Value (FH) and all the quick codes defined under the quick code type “Support Agreement Type”. The multiline displays all the parts which have MTBUR limits lesser than or equal to the value you specify here. |
Show Alerts |
Select this check box to retrieve / display only those parts that have reached the alert value. |
Display Watch List |
Select the check box to display the parts under watch list in the multiline. |
The system retrieves all the discrepancies processed in the open periods since the start-date of the reliability analysis period. This report takes into account only the discrepancies with Status other than “No Fault Found”, “Fresh” and “Cancelled”.
Select the “Part Details” tab to see the removal details of parts associated with the aircraft in the reliability fleet.
Select the “Alternate Part Details”tab to see the removal details of alternate parts associated with the aircraft in the reliability fleet .
Select parts in the “Part Removal Details” and "Alternate Part Removal Details” multilines that you want to add to the Watch List or generate graph.
Select parts that you want to add to the watchlist in the “Part Removal Details” multiline and then click the “Add to Watch List” pushbutton to include parts in the watchlist.
Click the “View / Analyze Graph” pushbutton to plot graphs that depict part removal information for the past 12 months ending with the current date.

Select the “Set MITBUR Limits for Parts” link to define MITBUR levels for parts.
