Setting reporting options for flight log
Click the “Reporting Options” tab in the “Set Options” page.
The “Reporting Options” tab page appears:
Enter the following details in the “Employee Reporting Options” group box:
Validate for employee presence as per ARS |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the employee presence has to be validated as per the Attendance Report System (ARS).
The system sets the field to “Yes” by default. |
Allow extra hour reporting without authorization |
Use the drop-down list box to set whether the employees are allowed to report on extra working hours without authorization. The system lists the following options:
The system sets the field to “Yes” by default. |
Basis for computing Overtime |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the default method in which the overtime must be computed. The system displays the options “Shift Pattern and “Standard Rate”. The system sets the field to “Shift Pattern” by default. |
Employee Time Sheet Updation Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the method by which the employee time sheet must be updated. The system lists the options “Clock”, “Manual” and “Clock & Manual”. By default, the system sets this field to “Clock”. |
Confirmation of Timesheet Records |
Use the drop-down list box to set the importance of confirmation of timesheet records. The system lists the options, “Required” and “Not Required”. Select “Required” if confirmation of timesheet records is required, else select “Not Required”. The system sets the field to “Required” by default. |
Authorization of Timesheet Records |
Use the drop-down list box to set the importance of authorization of timesheet records. The system lists the options, “Required” and “Not Required”. Select “Required” if authorization of timesheet records is required, else select “Not Required”. The system sets the field to “Required” by default. This field is mandatory if there exists an interaction with the “Payroll” business component. |
Enter the following details in the “Delay Reporting Options” group box:
Reported Delay Modification |
Use the drop-down list box to allow or disallow the modification of delay details. The system lists the options, "Not allowed", "Add new delays" and "Fully Modifiable".
The system sets the field to “Not allowed” by default. |
Validate Entered Delay Duration |
Use the drop-down list box to set options for validation of the delay duration entered. The system lists the options, "With Assigned Values", "Entered Values" and "None".

Enter the following in the “Sign-Off Options” group box:
Enforce Sign-Off? |
Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, to enforce sign-off. Select “No” otherwise. By default, the system sets the field to “Yes”. |
Permitt Dual Sign-Off by the employee |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether an employee is allowed to sign-off in dual role. The system displays the options “Yes”, “No” and “Allowed for FAR-135”. By default, the system sets the field to “Allowed for FAR-135”. |
Sign-off Reqd. For Deferral of Discrepancy |
Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, to enforce sign-off for deferral of discrepancy. Select “No” otherwise. By default, the system sets the field to “Yes”. |

Select the “Recording Options” tab to set recording options for flight log
Select the “Additional Options” tab to set additional options for flight log
