Setting numbering options for flight log

The “Numbering Options” tab appears by default on launch of the page.
Enter the following details in the “Numbering Type” group box:

PDR Discrepancy Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for generating the number for the Pilot Defect Report (PDR) discrepancy. The system lists all the numbering types defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Execution Ref # Discrepancy Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for generating the number for the Execution Ref # discrepancy. The system lists all the discrepancy numbering types as defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Maint. Report Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for generating the number for the maintenance report. The system lists all the discrepancy numbering types as defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Replacement Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for generating the number for the component replacement transaction. The system lists all the numbering types as defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Cannibalization/Swap Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for generating the number for the cannibalization. The system lists all the numbering types as defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Transfer Discrepancy Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for generating the number for discrepancy transfer. |

Default Numbering Type for EFB based Journey Log |
Use the drop-down list to select the default numbering type for a journey log created through the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) application. The system lists the numbering types defined for EFB-based journey log in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. By default, the system sets this field to the default numbering type assigned for EFB-based journey log in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Default Numbering Type For EFB based Flight Sheet |
Use the drop-down list to select the default numbering type for a flight sheet created through the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) application. The system lists the numbering types defined for EFB-based flight sheet in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. By default, the system sets this field to the default numbering type assigned for EFB-based flight sheet in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Default Numbering Type for LPC based Tech Log |
Use the drop-down list box to select the default numbering type for a tech log created through the LPC (Line Planning Control). |
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Recording Options” tab to set recording options for flight log
Select the “Reporting Options” tab to set reporting options for flight log
Select the “Additional Options” tab to set additional options for flight log
