View Dispatch Reliability Report – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can view the dispatch reliability details that are already entered for the fleet and are posted from Aircraft History to Aircraft Reliability by running the upload utility provided by “Reliability Set Up” business component.  Dispatch or Schedule Reliability is defined as percentage of flights that are not delayed (for user identified delay categories or for all categories). If all the delay categories are taken into consideration then this serves a direct indication of the performance of all the departments in a consolidated manner regarding running on schedule for the fleet. Else, if this analysis is carried out after taking into account the delay categories, then it can identify the efficiency or the inefficiency of a particular function performed by a department(s) for maintaining the schedule for the fleet. For example, let us assume that for a fleet, for a particular period, 99 % is the Dispatch or Schedule Reliability for all the delay categories. Assuming the corresponding figure is 95% after taking only Engineering and Technical as delay category, it can be inferred that most of delay is attributed to the Engineering / Technical Department.

The “Select Reliability Fleet” page allows you to select the fleet for which the dispatch reliability details are to be viewed. You can view the summary of the dispatch reliability report in the “View Dispatch Reliability Summary Report” page. Discrepancies are typically the symptoms of the problem, which are observed by the operation crew, such as the pilot, or the cabin crew. Mechanics and AME can also log on their similar observations in the form of Discrepancies. You can also view the discrepancy details in the “View Discrepancy Details” page.
