Managing engineering impact on customer contracts

The “Manage Engineering Impact for Customer Contracts” page appears.

Impact Assessment # / Rev #

The unique identifier of the impact assessment document and its revision number. Mandatory.

The system displays all the details from the latest revision of the impact assessment document in the three tabs.

The following detail for the impact assessment document is displayed.

Status

The status of the impact assessment document – Fresh, Confirmed or Cancelled.

Impact Summary

An overview of the impact assessment of the engineering change on the part # - serial #. Mandatory.

Impact Date

The date of creation of the impact assessment document.

Impact Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the impact category to which the impact assessment document belongs. The drop-down list box displays the Active quick codes defined under the quick code type “Impact Category” in the Create Quick Code / Edit Quick Code activity.

The “Document Details” section displays the following:

Ref. Doc. Type

The type of the reference document on the basis of which the impact assessment document is created.

Ref. Doc. #/ Rev. #

The reference document and the revision on which the basis of which the impact assessment document is created.

Ref. Doc. Class

The class to which the reference document belongs.

Subject

The theme / matter of the impact assessment document.

Source Doc. Type

The type of the source document for the impact assessment document.

Mandatory / Reliability Impact?

Indicates whether the execution of the engineering change is mandatory/ engineering change has any impact on component reliability.

The “Record Statistics” section displays the following:

Created by

The login user who created the impact assessment document.

Created Date

The date on which the login user created the impact assessment document.

Last Modified by

The login user who most recently modified the impact assessment document.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the login user most recently modified the impact assessment document.
