Defining applicability for certificates
Select the “Applicability List” tab in the "Manage Certificate Applicability" page.
This tab enables defining various applicability of the Certificate for Object Types like Part #, Task #, Task Type, Stock Status, Repair Scheme # and Customer #.
Enter the following in the multiline:
Object Type |
Use the drop-down list and select the object type against which the certificate is valid. The system lists “Part #”, “Task #”, “Task Type”, “Stock Status”, “Repair Scheme #” and “Customer #”. The system displays “Part #” by default. |
Object # |
The object against which the certificate is valid. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following:
Object Description |
The textual description of the object. |
Enter the following:
Certificate Type |
Use the drop-down list box and select the certificate type. The system lists “All” along with all the ‘Active’ Certificate Types defined for Parts in the “Create Certificate Type” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component. |
Regulatory Authority |
Use the drop-down list box and select the Regulatory Authority responsible for authorizing the certificate. The system lists all the ‘Active’ Regulatory Authority Codes defined in the “Create Regulatory Authority Codes” activity. |
Approved By Manufacturer |
The code identifying the manufacturer. You must specify the manufacturer, if the Object Type is selected as “Task #”. Help facility available. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list and select the applicability mapping status as ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’. By default, the system displays ‘Active’. |
The system displays the following:
Last Modified By |
The login name of the user who last modified the record. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the record was last modified. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the applicability definition.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Skill Code” tab to define skill code required to issue certificates.
