This activity essentially a report provides critical information, such as operational condition of the aircraft fleet, pending part requirements of grounded aircraft, causes, hours and stations of flight delays, unscheduled component removals from aircraft, average daily aircraft utilization and, deferred discrepancy and escalated task resolution. For instance, a quick glance at this page helps a mechanic know details of unresolved discrepancies and pending tasks. Similarly, a maintenance planner can ascertain those aircraft that are currently grounded in a jiffy. Such concise information significantly assists maintenance personnel in analyzing, prioritizing, planning and executing maintenance operations on aircraft.
