Change Defaults

This page allows you to modify the default values for Language, Role and OUInstance for a user. You can also specify the activity name for the Role-OU Instance combination.
Click the “Defaults” icon in the tool bar.
The “Change Defaults” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:

Language |
Use the drop-down list box to select the language for modifying the default values. The combo is loaded with “English”, “German” and “Arabic”. The system displays “English” by default on launch of the page. |

Role Description |
Use the drop-down list box to select the role description for modifying the default values. The combo is loaded with all valid roles mapped for the logged user account and defaulted with the current role from where the screen was launched. |

OU Instance Desc. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the OU instance description for modifying the default values. The combo is loaded with all valid OUs mapped for the logged user account and defaulted with the current OU from where the screen was launched. |

Activity Description |
If the user wants to launch a default activity when logging into the system without launching homepage, the default activity can be provided. The user can select any activity across all BPCs and components that are mapped to the given role and OU combination. |
Click the “Save Defaults” pushbutton to save the defaults details.
The system updates the default value specified by the user.
