Screen Shortcut Entry

This activity allows you to add or delete shortcuts to any screens that the user has privilege to. You can launch any particular activity for which the shortcut has to be created and click on the shortcut icon. The screen details are defaulted in the shortcut screen. You can add a shortcut code for the screen. Then you can provide the shortcut code of the valid mapped role and OU in the shortcut control text box at the top, to launch the respective screen.
Click the “Shortcut” icon in the tool bar.
The “Screen Shortcut Entry” dialogue page appears.
Enter the following details:

Component Description |
The name of the component. |

Activity Description |
The name of the activity. |
The system displays the following details.
|
Activity & ILBO Code |
The unique ILBO code of the activity. |
Enter the following details:

Shortcut Key Code |
The unique code represented as shortcut for the activity. |
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the shortcut key code for the screen.
The system updates the shortcut key codes on the right side section of the screen along with the activity and ILBO name.
Click the “Clear” pushbutton to clear the shortcut key code for an activity.
Click the “Close” pushbutton to close the window.
On Right Side section
You can search the shortcut key codes for the screen by specifying shortcut name or ILBO name or activity name.

Specify the details that you wish to search. |
Select the following details in “By” row:

Shortcut |
Select the button, if you wish to search by shortcut key code. |

ILBO |
Select the button, if you wish to search by ILBO code. |
|
Activity |
Select the button, if you wish to search by activity name. |
The system displays the details of “Shortcut”, “ILBO” and “Activity” in the lower section.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the “Delete” button to delete the selected shortcut key.
