Role Master
This activity allows you to define the roles i.e. the creation of Roles takes place here. You can specify the unique role name and the description for the role. You can also duplicate the role name. You can modify the existing role details. You can also delete a role by clicking on 'delete' icon at the top of the grid. The deletion of role is not allowed under the following circumstances,
When a role is mapped to a user.
When a role-to-webserver mapping exists.
When a role-to-client mapping exists.
When a role is mapped to an Organization Unit
Select the “Role Master” link under the “Implementation Process” business component.
The “Role Master” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:
Role Name |
A unique name of the role which is to be defined to the role master. |
Role Desc. |
The description of the role. |
Duplicate Role Name |
Select the check box to duplicate the role name. |
To fetch the role details
Click the “Fetch Roles” pushbutton to fetch all the roles as defined in the administration process.
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Role Name |
A unique name of the role which is to be defined to the role master. |
Role Description |
The description of the role. |
To add the roles
Click the “Add Roles” pushbutton to add the roles.
The system updates the role master with the newly added role details.
