Map Enterprise Roles

This activity allows you to map the activities of the available components to the role – OU combination. You can specify that the activity is the left pane activity and whether it includes the linked activities or not. You can also fetch, modify and delete the existing activities which are mapped to the role – OU combination.

Select the “Map Enterprise Roles” link under the “Implementation Process” business component.

The “Map Enterprise Roles” page appears.

- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Enter the following details in the header:

Role Name	A unique role name of the user for which the organization unit is mapped. Mandatory
	The system displays the description of the role.
OU Instance Name	A unique name of the OU instance to which the user role is mapped. Mandatory Press ENTER.
Component Description	Use the drop-down list box to select the component description for mapping the user role to the OU instance. The combo is loaded with component names based on the “Role name” and “OU Name” entered.
Access Rights Filter	Use the drop-down list box to select the access rights filter for mapping the user roles with the OU instance. The combo is loaded with “Fetch All Permitted Activities” and “Fetch All Non-Permitted Activities”. The system displays “Fetch All Permitted Activities” by default on launch of the page.
All OUs	Select the check box to fetch all organization units under which the component names are defined.

Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to fetch the role details.
Click the “Save All Activities” pushbutton to save all the activities mapped to the role.

The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Component Name	A unique name of the component.
Comp. Desc.	The description of the component.
Activity Name	A unique name of the activity mapped to the component.
Activity Description	The detailed name of the activity.
Is Left Pane Activity	Select the check box to specify whether mapped activity is left pane activity or not.
Include Linked Activities	Select the check box to include the linked activities.

Click the “Save Role Mapping Details” pushbutton to save the mapped role details to the particular activity.

The system updates the details of the activities.
