Using online help

This activity allows you to map the state id (defined using iEdk platform) to the Role – OU combination. You can view the state information of the controls based on the selected state id.

The “Map Role to State” page appears.

Component Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the component name for mapping the role – OU combination to state id.

Component Description

The detailed description of the component. (Display Only)

Activity Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the activity name for mapping the role – OU combination to state id. The combo is loaded with activity names based on the selected component name.

Activity Description

The detailed description of the activity. (Display Only)

ILBO Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the Internet Linked Business Object (ILBO) name for mapping the role – OU combination to state id. The combo is loaded with ILBO names based on the selected activity name.

ILBO Description

The detailed description of the ILBO. (Display Only)

The system displays the following in the multiline.

Role Name

A unique name identifying the role to which the state id has to be mapped.

OU Name

A unique name identifying the organization unit to which the state id has to be mapped.

State Id

Use the drop-down list box to select the state id for mapping to the role – OU combination.

State Description

The description of state id. (Display Only)

View State Info

The “View State Info” popup window appears.

State Id

Use the drop-down list box to select the state id for viewing the control details. The combo is loaded with all defined state id for the role – OU combination.

The system displays the following in the multiline.

Artifact Type

The type of artifact for which the state id is defined. The type can be “Page”, “Section”, “Control” and “Grid Column”.

Artifact Name

The name of the artifact for which the state id is defined.

Artifact Description

The description of artifact name.

Action Type

The type of action for which the state id is defined. The type can be “Disable”, “Enable”, “Hide”, “Visible”, etc.

Value

The defined value for action type.
