How to use the web page

Using Online Help

This activity allows you to record employee’s social security details. The SSN (Social Security Number) is issued to an individual by the Social Security Administration. The primary purpose is to track individuals for taxation purposes. You can specify the social security entitlement details. All the applicable hospitals are available for selection if you are entitled to social security number. You can specify the rate, year and month ranges. You can also view the previous and next records based on the specified year ranges.

The “Employee Social Security Details” page appears.

To record Employee Social Security Details

Thailand Statutory Admin Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the Thailand Statutory Admin Unit for specifying the social security details. The combo is loaded with the OU names and defaulted with the corresponding OU name which has been logged in.

The system displays the following details.

Date Format

The default date format set in the user preferences.

Employment Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the employment unit for specifying the social security details. The combo is loaded with the OU names and defaulted with the corresponding OU name which has been logged in.

Employee Code

A unique code identifying the employee for specifying the social security details.

Help facility available.

Entitle

Use the drop-down list box to select “Yes” if you are entitled to social security benefits and “No” if you are not entitled to social security benefits. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page.

SS Hospital 1

Use the drop-down list box to select the SS hospital 1 details. The combo is loaded with all the applicable hospitals mapped to the login OU.

SS Hospital 2

Use the drop-down list box to select the SS hospital 2 details. The combo is loaded with all the applicable hospitals mapped to the login OU.

SS Hospital 3

Use the drop-down list box to select the SS hospital 3 details. The combo is loaded with all the applicable hospitals mapped to the login OU.

Rate

The social security rate percentage applicable to the employee.

From Year

The year from which the employee is entitled to social security.

To Year

The year until which the employee is entitled to social security.

From Month

Use the drop-down list box to select the month from which the employee is entitled to social security.

To Month

Use the drop-down list box to select the month until which the employee is entitled to social security.

Modification Option

From the drop down list box, select “New”.

The system saves the employee social security details.

To modify the existing Social Security Details

The system retrieves and displays the Entitle, SS Hospital No. 1, SS Hospital No. 2, SS Hospital No. 3, Rate, From Year, To Year, From Month and To Month details. You can modify the existing details.

Modification Option

From the drop-down list box select,

  • “Correct” - if you have corrected the record. The system overwrites the existing record.

  • “New” - if you have updated the record with new information. As a result, a new record is created and a history of records is maintained.

The system saves the modified employee social security details.

To view various records

Based on the specified Employee Code, the system retrieves and displays the Social Security Details.

The system displays the employee’s past record based on the specified year and month ranges.

Note: If no records are available for previous task, the system displays “Current Record is the first record entered for the employee”.

The system displays the employee’s immediate employment history record based on the specified year and month ranges.

Note: If no records are available for next task, the system displays “Current Record is the last record entered for the employee”.
