Manage Dependents
This page allows the HR admin to view, approve or reject the dependent details. HR admin can add new dependent by using “Add Dependent” link. HR admin can delete a dependent only if it is in “Authorized” status.
System will show all the existing dependents.
You could also search for specific set of employees
Employee Code |
Enter the employee code or click the help icon (magnifying glass) to search for specific employee. Employee name gets displayed. |
Department |
Select the department from dropdown to which the employee belongs. |
Status |
You could select the status from dropdown. The dropdown displays the following statuses “All Pending”, “Approved”, “Deleted”, “Pending for Authorization – Alter”, “Pending for Authorization – Create”, “Pending for Authorization – Delete” and “Rejected”. |
Click “Get” button to view the dependent list in the multiline.
Click “Add Dependent” hyperlink to add new dependent for the selected employee.
The system displays the following details for any dependents in the grid.
Employee Name – Code |
The employee name and code to which the dependent is added. |
Dependent Name |
The name of the dependent. |
Event Type Relationship |
The event type and relationship of the dependent with the employee. |
Event Date |
The date of event is displayed. |
Beneficiary |
Indicates “Yes” if the dependent is added as beneficiary else “No”. |
Disabled |
Indicates “Yes” if the dependent is disabled else “No”. |
SSN No. |
The Social Security Number of the dependent. |
Attachment |
Any document attachment if required or available. |
Address |
The address of the dependent. |
Status |
The status of the dependent approval from HR. |
Remarks |
Remarks if any. |
Select the check box on any row and Click “Approve” button to approve the dependent.
Select the check box on any row and Click “Reject” button to reject the dependent.
To remove a dependent
When you wish to remove a dependent due to a legal separation or death of the dependent, tick “Remove Dependent” check box. The system expects the removal of dependent with a respective event date and reason.
Note: Only authorized records can be deleted.
The system displays the following details in the “Dependent list” multiline.
Employee Name – Code |
The employee name and code to which the dependent is added. |
Dependent Name |
The name of the dependent. |
Event Type Relationship |
The event type and relationship of the dependent to the employee. |
Event Date |
The date of event is displayed. |
Beneficiary |
Indicates “Yes” if the dependent is added as beneficiary else “No” is displayed. |
Disabled |
Indicates “Yes” if the dependent is disabled else “No” is displayed. |
SSN No. |
The Social Security Number of the dependent. |
Attachment |
Any attached document is displayed. |
Address |
The address of the dependent. |
Status |
The status of the dependent record. |
Remarks |
Remarks are mandatory while deleting a dependent. |
Event Type |
Select the event type from dropdown. For Example: “Death” |
Event Date |
Enter the date of event. |
Select the check box on the row and Click “Remove” button to delete the dependent. In case you do not select the required rows, system raises the messages appropriately so you could take the due actions.
