Select “View User Permissions for a Plan ” hyperlink from the left pane
The “View User Permissions for Benefit Plan ” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.

From the “Business Security Def. Unit” drop-down list box, select the benefits security definition unit for which the plan is applicable. The drop-down list box contains displays all the benefits security definition units for which you have permissions to view. Tell me more
All the programs mapped to the selected Benefits security definition unit are now available in the “Program” drop-down list box.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the plan code or the plan description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the plan code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Plan Code |
To view all plan codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these plan codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PCC1*, will search for those plan codes that start with PCC1. Other examples are *PCC1, PC*C1, PCC1* and PCC1*. |
Plan Description |
To view all plan descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these plans. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example. PCD1*, will search for those plan descriptions that start with PCD1. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values. If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected program.
The list of plans satisfying the search criteria will get listed in the “Plan” drop-down list box.
All the plans mapped to the selected program satisfying search criteria are now available in the “Plan” drop-down list box. If the search criteria is not satisfied, the system will display list of all the plans mapped to the selected program.
From the drop-down list box, select the plan for which the user permissions are to be viewed.
The description of the plan type will get displayed in the “Plan Type” field.
The multiline displays the names of all the users who have user permissions to access the specified plan
Given below is a description of the fields in the multiline
User Name |
The name of the user. |
Role |
The role in which the user accesses the plan. |
Note: The same user may hold different roles for the same plan. The extent of his/her accessibility to the plan may differ for each role that the user holds
From Date |
The date from which the user has been provided permissions to access the plan |
To Date |
The date until which the user has been provided permissions to access the plan. |

Select the "View User Permissions for Benefit Plans" link at the bottom of the page to view user role based plan permission.
Use this page to view the details of the users who have been given permission to access a specified plan.
