Selecting a family coverage category to view
Select the “View Family Coverage Category” option from the left pane.
The “Select Family Coverage Category To View” page appears.
The system displays the following fields.
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system will display the date format applicable to the Organization unit, which is defined in the “Enterprise Model Company Definitions” |
Benefits General Info. Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the organization unit from for which the family coverage details must be viewed. |
From the drop-down list box select the organization unit for which details of the family coverage details must to be viewed. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit.
Select the family coverage record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
To select through Direct Entry
Use this method if you know the complete code of the family coverage record.
Enter the code of the family coverage code whose details must be viewed in the “Family Coverage Code” field.
Select the “View Family Coverage” hyperlink.
The “View Family Coverage Category” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To view the details of Benefit Association, refer to the topic “View Family Coverage Category”.
To select through Search Criteria
Family Coverage Code |
To view the family coverage codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the benefit association codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, FC01*, will search for those family coverage codes that start with BNA01. Other examples are *FCA1, F*1 and *FC* |
Family Coverage Short Description |
To view all family coverage short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, FMCovrg*, will search for those Family Coverage short descriptions that start with FMCovrg*. Other examples are *FMCovrg, *MCo* |
Family Coverage Description |
To view all family coverage long descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the long description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Family Coverage*, will search for those Benefit Long descriptions that begin with Family Coverage. Other examples are Age*, *FMCove*. |
No. Of Dependents |
From the drop-down list box select one of the following values viz. Less Than or Equal To or More Than or Equal To. By default the system will display with a blank value. In the second drop-down list box enter the number of dependents based on which the system will display the coverage categories that have the specified number as maximum number of dependents. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that have
been created in the Benefit General information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the family coverage records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Family Coverage Code |
The unique code that identifies the family coverage category. |
Family Coverage Short Description |
A brief description of the family coverage category. |
Family Coverage Long Description |
The complete description of the family coverage category. |
No. of Dependents |
The maximum number of dependents allowed to be covered in the corresponding family coverage category. |
From the multiline, select the record that must be viewed, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the “View Family Coverage Category” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
The “View Family Coverage Category” page appears.
