Select "View Benefit Year" from the left pane.
The "View Benefit Year" page appears.
The system displays the following fields.
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. |

If the user does not define the date format, the system will display the date format applicable to the Organization unit; this date format is predefined in the “Enterprise Modeller Company Definitions” |
Benefit General Info Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the organization unit for which details of the benefit year is to be viewed. |

The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit |
In the search criteria group box, enter the following details.
Benefit Year Code |
To view the benefit year codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the Benefit year codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |

Example, BNFTYR1*, will search for those Benefit year codes that start with BNFTYR1. Other examples are *YR1, BN*Y1, BFTY1*. |
Benefit Year Short Description |
To view all benefit year short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of the benefit year short description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |

Example, TYSC1*, will search for those benefit year codes that start with TYSC1. Other examples are *TYSC1, TY*C1, TYSC1* and TYSC1*. |
Year Type |
From the drop-down list box select the type of the benefit year viz., “Calendar Year” or “Fiscal Year”. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The list of records satisfying the search criteria is displayed in the multiline.
Note: You can enter the search criteria values in one or many of the fields. If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected Benefit General Information Unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the benefit year records that satisfy your search criteria.

The code that identifies the benefit year. |
Short Description |
The short description of the benefit year |
Benefit Year Description |
The long description of the benefit year |
Year Type |
The type of the benefit year viz., “Calendar Year” or “Fiscal Year”. |
Effective From |
The date from which the benefit year is effective. |
Effective To |
The date until which the benefit year is effective. |

Click the "Org. Unit Mapping" link to map the benefit year record to the organizational unit.
