Editing a premium period

Date Format

The date that is applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system displays the date format applicable to the organization unit that is defined in the “Enterprise Modeller Company Definitions”

Benefit General Info Unit

The name of the organization in which the benefit set up unit has been deployed.

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the premium period code or the premium period description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the premium period code or description contains. You must select the frequency for which premium period records are to be viewed. Optionally, you can enter the “From Date and “To Date” fields, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.

Benefit Year Description

From the drop-down list box select the benefit year for which premium period details are to be modified. The drop-down list box will display all the benefit years that have been defined in the “Create Benefit Year” activity.

Premium Frequency

From the drop-down list box select the frequency for which premium period details are to be modified.

Premium Period Code

The unique code of the premium period containing specific character type in the starting character or characters of this benefit year code.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PRM1*, will search for those premium period codes that start with PRM1. Other examples are *PRM1, P*M1, PM*1* and PMP1*.

Premium Period Short Description

To view all premium period short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of the premium period short description.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PRMPD1*, will search for those premium period description that start with PRMPD1. Other examples are * PRMPD1, PRM*PD1, PRMPD*1 and PRMPD*.

From Date

The probable start date of the premium period. For example if you enter the search parameter as 30.01.01, the system will fetch the records that start from 30.01.01. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards.

To Date

The probable end date of the premium period. For example if you enter the search parameter as 30.01.01, the system will fetch the records that start from 30.01.01. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards

Note: If the search criteria are entered in more than one field, the system will fetch only those records that satisfy the combination of the search criteria specified.
 
If you do not enter the search criteria, and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected benefit setup unit

The long description of the premium period

From Date

The date from which the premium period is in effect.

To Date

The date until which the premium period will be effective

Note: You can change the from date and the to date of the premium period only when processing has not been initiated for the premium period or Cobra receipts have not been received from a single employee.
