Select the "Edit Benefit Year" link from the left pane.
The "Edit Benefit Year" page appears.
The system displays the following fields
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system displays the date format applicable to the organization unit that is defined in the “Enterprise Modeller Company Definitions” |
Benefit General Info Unit |
The name of the organization in which the benefit set up unit has been deployed. |

From the drop-down list box select the organization unit for which details of the benefit year is to be modified. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit |
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the benefit year code or the benefit year description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the benefit year code or description contains. Optionally, you can enter the “From Date and “To Date” fields, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Benefit Year Code

The unique code of the benefit year containing specific character type in the starting character or characters of this benefit year code. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, TYC1*, will search for those benefit year codes that start with TYC1. Other examples are *TYC1, TY*C1, TYC1* and TYC1*. |
Benefit Year Short Description |
To view all benefit year short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of the benefit year short description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, BNFTYR1*, will search for those benefit year codes that start with BNFTYR1. Other examples are * BNFTYR 1, BNFT*YR1, BNFTYR* and BNFTYR 1*. |
Year Type |
From the drop-down list box select the type of the benefit year. The drop-down list box contains two values viz., Calendar Year and Fiscal Year. One among them must be selected. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The list of records satisfying the search criteria is displayed in the multiline.
Note:
If the search criteria are entered in more than one field, the system
will fetch only those records that satisfy the combination of the search
criteria specified.
If you do not enter the search criteria, and select the “Search” pushbutton,
the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected
benefit setup unit

Year Type |

After you edit the record, select the “Save” pushbutton to save the changes made.
