Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user

If the user does not define the date format, the system will display the date format applicable to the Organization Unit; this date format is predefined in the “Enterprise Modeller Company Definitions”

Benefits General Info Unit

From the drop-down list box select the organization unit from for which the benefit year must be defined.

From the drop-down list box select the organization unit for which details of the benefit year is to be created. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit.

Benefit Year Code

A unique code to identify the benefit year.

Benefit Year Short Description

A brief description to identify the benefit year.

Benefit Year Long Description

The full description of the benefit year.

For example, if you have identified the benefit year code as “BYR002”, you can enter “BNFTYr.” as the short description and “Benefit Year” as the long description.

Benefit Year

From the drop-down list box select the type of the benefit year created. The drop-down list box contains two values viz. “Calendar Year” and “Fiscal Year”.

From Date

The date from which the benefit year begins.

To Date

The date until which the benefit year is effective.

Applicable to

Select one of the three options available in the drop-down list box: “All Org. Units”, “Login Org. Units” or “Selective Org. Units”. If you select

•  “All Org. Units”, the benefit year record will be made available to all organizational units of the group company.

•  “Login Org. Units”, the benefit year record will be mapped to the organizational unit to which the login user is attached.

•  “Selective Org. Units”, the benefit year record will be available only to specific organizational units.
