Viewing primary participants eligibility profile
Select the “View Primary Participants Eligibility Profile Details” link at the bottom of the page.
The “View Primary Participant Profile” page appears.
The system displays the following details.
Date format |
The date format of the previous page. |
Benefits Eligibility Def. Unit |
The eligibility definition unit selected in the previous page. |
Eligibility Profile Code |
The unique code that identifies the eligibility profile. |
Eligibility Short Description |
The short description of the eligibility profile. |
Eligibility Long Description |
The brief description of the eligibility profile |
Effective From |
The date from which the eligibility profile is effective. |
Effective To |
The date until which the eligibility profile is effective. |
Age |
The age of the participant. |
Date of Birth |
The participant’s date of birth criteria. |
Marital Status |
The marital status criteria of the employee. For ex. Married, divorced, etc. |
Disability |
Indicates the disability criteria applicable for eligibility. |
Service Area Description |
The postal service area that is applicable for eligibility. |
Zip |
The zip code of the participant. |
Employee Type |
The type of employees like "Regular", "Contract", "Consultant" "Volunteer" etc. |
Length of Service |
The length of service criteria of the primary participant |
Date of Hire |
The date on which the participant has joined the organization. |
Reference Period |
The system displays two values viz. “Hire Date” to indicate that the period of service starts from the hire date. “Rehire Date,” indicates that the period of service starts with rehire date. |
Employment Status |
To indicate if the employee is still employed in the organization or has been terminated etc. Examples are "Current", "Separation" etc. |
FLSA |
The status of FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938) applicable to the eligibility profile i.e. the employee is has exempted status or non-exempt status. |
Union Affiliation |
“Yes” indicates that the employee must be affiliated to a union. “No” indicates that the employee should not be affiliated to a union. [N.A] indicates that the union affiliation is not applicable for eligibility. |
Benefit Association Description |
The description of benefits association to which the employee must be enrolled. |
Employee Type |
The type of employees like "Regular", "Contract", "Consultant" "Volunteer" etc. |
Employer Reason |
The reason for separation. Examples, death, disability etc. |
Std. Hours per Week |
The total number of hours of work an employee should put in per week. |
Actual Hours per Week |
The actual number of hours of work an employee has put in per week. |
Compensation |
The compensation required for the eligibility profile. |

Bargaining Agreement Code |
The unique code to identify the bargaining agreement |
Bargaining Agreement Description |
The description of the bargaining agreement code. |
Effective From |
The date from which the bargaining agreement is in effect. |
Effective To |
The date until which the bargaining agreement is in effect. |
Option |
One between the two values namely “should be” and “Should not be”. “Should be,” indicates that the participant must be the member of the benefit agreement for enrollment. “Should not be,” indicates that the participant must not be the member of the benefit agreement for enrollment. |
You can view opinions, comments and other details if any, in the “Comments” field.
You can also view these details, if they were entered previously. Select the book icon. The system displays a pop up dialogue box containing the content that has been entered previously.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to return to the previous page.
By default, the system displays the latest history of the eligibility profile record.
Click the “Previous” pushbutton besides the “Access Data History” label, to view the previous change that has been made.
Click the “Next” pushbutton besides the “Access Data History” label, to view the next change of eligibility profile record with the effective dates.
Note: When you click “Previous”, the system will display the previous record in the database, provided you had chosen “Update” in the “Edit Option” drop-down list box while you edited.
If there is only one value, the page will be refreshed with this current value only.
