Select the “Edit Participant Eligibility Profile” hyperlink from the left pane.
The “Select Primary Participant Eligibility Profile” page appears.

Enter or select the following

Benefits Eligibility Def. Unit

The name of the organization unit in which the benefits eligibility definition unit has been deployed. If there is more than one value, the system displays “Select” as the default value in the drop-down list box.

From the “Benefits Eligibility Definition Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit for which the eligibility profile has to be created. Tell me more

To select through Direct Entry

Use this method if you know the complete code and name of the eligibility profile

Enter the code of the eligibility profile that must be modified or deleted, in the “Eligibility Profile Code” field.
Select the “Edit Eligibility Profile” hyperlink.
The “Edit Eligibility Definition” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To edit the Eligibility Definition Profile, refer to the topic “Editing the Eligibility Profile Definition ”.

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the eligibility code or the eligibility description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the eligibility profile code or eligibility description contain. Optionally, Search based on wild card characters is also supported.

Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.

Eligibility Profile Code	To view the eligibility profile codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the eligibility codes.
	Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, ELG1, will search for those eligibility profile codes that start with ELG1. Other examples are ELG1, E1 and LG
Eligibility Profile Short Description	To view all eligibility profile short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Elgbty, will search for those eligibility short descriptions that start with Elgbtyl. Other examples are ELG, Elgy, and Egty
Eligibility Profile Long Description	To view all eligibility profile long descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the long description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Elgbty, will search for those eligibility short descriptions that start with Elgbtyl. Other examples are ELG, Elgy, and Egty

Select the “ Search” pushbutton.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected benefits eligibility profile.

The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the eligibility profile records that satisfy the search criteria specified.

Code	The code of the eligibility profile
Short description	A short description of the eligibility profile.
Long Description	A brief description of the eligibility profile.

From the multiline, select the record that must be modified or deleted, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the “Edit Eligibility Profile ” hyperlink.
The “Edit Eligibility Profile” page appears.

To proceed

Select the “Edit Eligibility Profile” hyperlink to modify the details entered.
