To select through Direct Entry

Use this method if you know the complete code of the program code.

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the benefit program code or the benefit program description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the benefit program code or description contain. Optionally, you can specify the “Effective From Date” and “Effective To Date” fields, to narrow your search.  You can also specify the status of the benefit program. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.

Program Code

The unique code that identifies a benefit program. To view all the benefit program codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these benefit program codes.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  Benefit Program 1*, will search for those benefit program codes that start with benefit program 1. Other examples are *AM1 and B*N1.

Program Short Description

The description of the benefit program. To view all the benefit program descriptions containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of the benefit program descriptions.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  Exe*, will search for those benefit program descriptions that start with Exec. Other examples are *ec and Ex*c.

Program Description

The long description of the benefits program. To view all the benefit program descriptions containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of the benefit program descriptions.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  Exe*, will search for those benefit program descriptions that start with Exec. Other examples are *ec and Ex*c.

Status

From the drop-down list box select the status of the plan type. One among the following can be selected namely “Active”, “Pending” and “Inactive”.

Effective From Date

The date on or after which the benefit program is in effect. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of all the benefit program that are effective from the specified date.

Effective To Date

The date on or before which the benefit program is in effect. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of all the benefit program that will be in effect till the specified date.

Note: To indicate the probable period for which the benefit program is effective, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of all the benefit program that are effective during the period.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value. If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
