Recording additional charges on order
Select the "Record Addl. Charges on Order" link under the "Customer Order - Services" component to record/modify order-level charges/modify task-level charges.
Or
Select the "Record Addl. Charges on Order" link from the activities of the Shop Work Order component to record/modify task-level charges.
The “Record Addl. Charges on Order" page appears.
Enter the following.
Customer Order # / Rev. # |
The order and revision for which you want to record additional charges, Mandatory. The order must be valid as defined in the Customer Order – Services component. Help facility available |
Charge Level |
Use the drop-down list box to select the level of charges against the customer order. The drop-down list box displays the following: Task and Order. Note: If you access this page from the left pane, the drop-down list box displays both Order and Task. However, if you access this page via link, Task is the option available in this field. |
Select the “Get” pushbutton to display details in the multiline.
Note:Note that the system retrieves all JVs which carry a Customer Order reference if ‘Required’ is set for the parameter ‘Bill back Journal Vouchers with Customer Order reference’
Note: If a JV line carries only Exec. Doc. #, and if the Exec. Document has a Customer Order reference, then it is eligible for bill back to the customer.
Note: The system automatically inherits the JV and associated with the Charge and Variant codes mentioned in the Process parameters if ‘0’ for ‘Required’ is set as the option for the parameter Auto inherit Journal Vouchers on Customer Orders as Additional Charge " in the ‘Set Sales Process Parameters’ activity.
The system retrieves only the details of the JV and the user is required to manually provide charges and variant codes to the JV.
The “Cust. Order Info.” group box displays the following.
Customer # |
The identification number of the customer associated with the customer order. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer associated with the customer order. |
Customer PO # |
The customer purchase order associated with the customer order. |
Sale Type |
The sale type of the contract associated to the customer. |
Obj. Applicability |
The object to which the customer order is applicable, such as Aircraft, Parts or Others. |
Order Status |
The status of the order, such as "Processed", "Approved" etc. |
Enter the following in the “Charge Details” multiline.
Charge Code |
The number that identifies the charge to be levied on the customer order, Mandatory. The TCD code that you specify must exist in the “Active” status with TCD basis set to “Flat” and TCD type as “Charge” in the TCD component. Help facility available |

Variant # |
The number that identifies the variant of the charge to be levied on the customer order, Mandatory. The variant code that you specify must be valid for the charge code and, must exist in the “Active” status in the TCD component. Help facility available |
The system displays the following in the multiline:

The following fields retrieve details of only those tasks from shop work orders associated with the customer order that are in Released, In-Progress or Completed status.

The number that identifies the task. |

The short name/description of the task. |

Enter the following in the multiline.
Billable? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the charge must be billed to the customer. The drop-down list box displays the following: Yes and No. This field is mandatory, if the charge level is “Order”. You must select “Yes”, if the charge level is “Task”. By default the system displays ‘Yes’ in this field. |
Rate |
The debit value of the Journal Voucher. |
Amount |
The amount of the charge, Mandatory. The amount you specify must be a positive integer greater than zero. |
TCD Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the payment currency for the charge, Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays only the base currency, if the charge is set to “Task”. However, if the charge level is “Order”, the drop-down list box displays both the customer order currency and the base currency. |
Accounting Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to select the accounting usage for the additional charge against the customer order. The drop-down list box displays all those usages that are defined for the Sales function, Customer Order transaction and Customer order transaction type. This field is mandatory, if the charge level is “Order”. However, if the charge level is “Task”, the drop-down list box displays no values. |
Cost Center |
The cost center to book the additional charge on the customer order. Help facility available |
The system displays the following in the multiline:
Invoiced? |
Indicates whether the task is billed in the invoice. |
Quoted? |
Indicates whether the task is included in the quote submitted to the customer. |

More details on the additional charges applicable on the customer order. |
The system displays the following in the multiline:
Created by |
The name and code of the employee who created the customer order. |
Created Date |
The date on which the employee created the customer order. |
Modified by |
The name and code of the employee who last modified the customer order. |
Modified Date |
The date on which the employee last modified the customer order. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
