Edit Cost Center Structure – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify the details of a cost center structure. You can search and select the cost center structure for which you want to modify the details. You can modify the details of a cost center structure that is in the “Active” status. Apart from modifying the details, you can also include new group or detail cost centers to the structure. A cost center must be unique for the cost center structure.

This activity also allows you to delete any level in the selected cost center structure. The system deletes all the cost centers that fall below the selected level. However you cannot delete all the cost centers at the top most level of the hierarchy. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified cost center details. This activity also allows you to view a graphical representation of the cost center structure.
