Scheduling work orders for execution
Select the “Workorder Scheduling” activity under the “Work Scheduling” business component.
The “Schedule Jobs” page appears.
Click to open the Search section and specify filters to retrieve precise work orders. However, the Search section appears by default on launch of the page.
Under “Location, Timeline & Filters”, enter the following:
Station |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the work orders generated in specific station. The drop-down list box displays the stations applicable for the login user. By default, this filter displays the previously selected station. |
Primary Work Center | Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the work orders that have been scheduled for execution in specific primary work center. The drop-down list box displays the work centers mapped to the selected station for which the login user has access rights. |

To fetch work orders scheduled in specific period, enter the start date of the period. |
To | To fetch work orders scheduled in specific period, enter the end date of the period. |
In the "Search" field, enter Part #, Aircraft # and/or Model # to retrieve work orders based on key code search. You can also use wild card to specify Part #, Aircraft # and/or Model # in the Search field.
Use the Roster Group drop-down list box to retrieve jobs to which specific roster group has been assigned. The drop-down list box displays the Active roster groups comprising employees mapped to the primary work center. This implies only those employees that are mapped to the roster group can be assigned to the shop work order.
Click the “Filters & Grouping” button to specify the basis for consolidation of work orders for execution.
Select the “Exec Doc” radio button to group work orders based on the associated execution document.
Select the “Work Center” radio button to group work orders based on the work center in which they have been scheduled for execution.
Click the "Go" button to retrieve work orders.

Tile section
The tiles display the status of the work orders in the organization unit.

Click the count in the required tile to display details of the jobs in the multiline.
Job Details Gantt
The primary section of the screen is split vertically into two sections- Grid and Gantt sections
On the left is the “Job Details” grid where you can view the task details and assign resources to work orders or individual tasks. On the right is the Gantt depicting the duration elapsed for tasks and work orders on a timeline with multiple levels of zoom.
The “Job Details” grid displays the following details of the work orders retrieved based on the station/primary work center and time range that you specified under “Location, Timeline & Filters”.

Click and drag the Job bar horizontally across the required dates in the timeline.
You can change
4 The Start and End dates of tasks in the Draft/Fresh/Planned status. The estimated manhours will remain unchanged; however, elapsed time can be changed
4 The End date of tasks in the In-Progress status. Note that you cannot change the start date of tasks that are currently being executed. The elapsed time will change consequently.
However, you cannot make any changes in the time for Completed tasks.
Employee Availability Gantt
Under the “Employee Availability” Gantt, on the left you can view the resources mapped to the primary work center under the selected station. On the right is the gantt depicting the availability of each resource together with current allocation,if any.
Process Parameter dependency: The Job Details Gantt and Employee Availabilty Gantt display employee / job details based on the value set for the process parameter “Apply Roster filter in Schedule Jobs on?" under the entity type Package Type and the entity “All Package types and Log Cards” in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master. The table next illustrates the functionality of the “Apply Roster filter in Schedule Jobs on?" when set to each of the permitted values

Employee Assignment Gantt
Under the “Employee Assignment” Gantt, on the left you can view the the employees mapped to the primary work center under the selected station. On the right, is the gantt depicting the tasks assigned to each employee. The tasks assigned to an employee can be assigned to another employee by dragging and dropping a task in this gantt. You can change the resource assigned to tasks in the Draft/Fresh/Planned/In-Progress status. A planner can change Start/End dates to change the Elapsed time of a task. However, Estimated man hours remain unchanged.
