Release Component Warranty Claim – A summary of the activity

This activity helps you to release a component warranty claim. Releasing a claim implies sending the claim to the supplier for processing.

A warranty claim is created after entering all the defect details, claim amount and the component work order references (if any) executed on the component.

A warranty claim in  “Confirmed” or "Pending Release" status can be released.

The operator finalizes the details of the claim and releases it to the supplier for further processing. The claim document in  “Confirmed” or "Pending Release" status can be released.

• Select the component warranty claim to be released, in the "Release Component Warranty Claim" page.

• Click the " Release Claim" pushbutton to release the claim document.

Revise component warranty claim

A component warranty claim is released to the supplier for obtaining the feedback from him. Based on the feedback received, the warranty claim is further processed. You can  modify the details of the claim in the "Pending Release" status.

• Select the component warranty claim to be released, in the "Revise Component Warranty Claim Information" page.

• Click the "Revise Claim" pushbutton to revise the claim details.
