Maintain Aircraft Warranty Details – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create aircraft warranty details or modify the existing warranty details. To retrieve the aircraft warranty for modifying it, you either need to know the warranty agreement number or search for this agreement number using the search criteria.

You can associate multiple aircraft for a specific aircraft warranty agreement number. For a specific supplier, the agreement can be created for the warranty type specified. All types of warranties can be created and edited, such as the warranty given by the supplier, the OEM, the warranty for overhaul or a repair warranty.

You can also update the following:

• The terms and coverage of the warranty

• The coverage of parts

•  The details of the warranty agreement of all the part types.

• Go to “Maintain Aircraft Warranty Details” page and enter the Reference Document #, Reference Document Date, Agreement Valid From Date, Agreement Valid To Date, Aircraft Reg #, Supplier #, Agreement Category, Warranty Type and Status in the multiline to create an aircraft warranty.

Modify an existing warranty

You can modify the existing aircraft warranty details.

• Go to “Maintain Aircraft Warranty Details” page and enter the agreement directly or specify the search criteria..

Update warranty terms and coverage

You can update the warranty terms and coverage details.

• Go to "Edit Warranty Terms and Coverage" page, to update the warranty terms and coverage details.
