This activity allows you to freeze a component warranty claim document. A warranty claim is freezed when the supplier agrees on the claim. Once freezed, the claim cannot be modified or revised.

After creation, the warranty claim is released to the supplier and the supplier sends his feedback regarding the claim. The airline operator can revise the claim details based on the feedback and freeze the claim.

In certain cases, the negotiations with the supplier regarding the claim may prove futile. You can pre-close the component warranty claim in such situations.
