Create Dependent System Condition – A summary of the activity

The “Create Dependent System Condition” activity enables you to enter the Dependent System Condition (DSC) information, that describe the condition or the required state of the various related systems before executing a maintenance task. Typical examples of dependent system condition are hydraulic power on or off, landing gear position and flap or slat position.

A unique number identifies each DSC. A DSC number can be attached to multiple tasks. The DSC reference will be maintained for the task, when the task is attached to a work order. References to the documentsr that contain the state of the dependent system or drawings can also be provided.
