Activating task – A summary of the activity
The tasks defined in the “Create Task” activity can be executed only after they are activated. You are provided with the option of authorizing or returning the tasks that have been created. Only tasks that are in “Fresh” status can be activated or returned in the “Authorize Tasks” page.
Who can carry out this activity
This activity can be carried out only by users who has access permission set for the activity.
You can modify or view the details in this activity. The task can be modified in the “Edit Task Information” page. The “Edit Work Area / Zone Information” page allows you to modify the work area or zone details required for executing the task. You can modify the parts details and the resource details in the “Edit Part Requirements” and “Edit Resource Requirements” pages respectively. The “Edit Access Panel Information” page allows you to modify the access panels details for the task.
The “Edit Model Effectivity” and the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” pages allow you to specify the applicability of the task to the model and to the aircraft within the model. You can modify the component and the periodicity details in the “Edit Component Effectivity” and the “Edit Periodicity Information” pages. In the “Edit Notes” page you can specify the general information referring to the task.
The task details can be viewed in the “View Task Information” page. The “View Work Area / Zone Information” page allows you to view the work area or zone details required for executing the task. You can view the spare parts details and the resource details in the “View Part Requirements” and “View Resource Requirements” pages respectively. The “View Access Panel Information” page allows you to view the access panels details for performing the task.
The “View Model Effectivity” and the “View Aircraft Effectivity” page allows you to view the applicability of the task to the model and the to the aircraft’s within the model. You can view the component details in the “View Component Effectivity” page. The “View Periodicity Information” allow you to view periodicity information. In “View Notes” page you can view the general information about the task.
This activity also helps you to view the status log details for the task.
