Viewing free stock detailed information

This page enables you to view the firm receipt details of the free stock available in a particular warehouse. Tell me more.

Select the “View Free Stock Details” link at the bottom of the “Inquire Free Stock” page.

The “View Free Stock Detailed Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Review Details” group box:

Stocking Location	The location of the stock, which is “Warehouse”.
Required Date	The date for which free stock details are displayed.
Part #	The code identifying the part.
Part Description	The textual description of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
	Zoom facility available.
Required UOM	The unit of measurement in which the part is required.
Stock UOM	The unit of measurement in which the part is stocked.

Enter the following field:

Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse for which you wish to view the free stock. The warehouse is displayed in the alphabetical order.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the details.

The system displays the following:

Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
	Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Free Firm Receipt Information” multiline for the selected warehouse:

Receipt Date	The date of the firm receipt.
Free Firm Qty	The quantity of the firm receipt that would be available as ‘free stock’, on the inquired date.
Qty Reserved By Plan Demands	The quantity of the firm receipt reserved by the planned demand.
Receipt Document #	The number identifying the receipt document.
Document Type	The type of the document.
Note: If the stock receipt refers to physical stock in the warehouse, then the document type will be physical stock.
Doc Source Point	The organization unit in which the part was received.
Receipt Qty	The quantity of the receipt.
Note: If the receipt refers to physical stock in the warehouse, the receipt quantity will be the same as the physical stock.
Document Line #	The line number of the receipt document that initiated the firm receipt.
Document Schedule #	The schedule number of the document that initiated the firm receipt.

The system displays the following:

Total Free Firm Qty	The total quantity of the firm receipts that would be available as ‘free stock’.
Total Qty Reserved	The total quantity of the firm receipts reserved by plan demands.

Click the “Select” column in the multiline, to mark a free firm receipt to view the plan demands reserved against it.

Select the “View plan reservation” link at the bottom of the page, to view the plan demands reserved against a free firm receipt.

Viewing free stock detailed information – An overview

On selecting a warehouse number, the system displays the free firm receipt quantity and the quantity reserved by plan demands. The total free firm receipt quantity and the total quantity reserved for a plan demand is also displayed.
