Setting stock analysis parameters – A summary of the activity

Stock Analysis starts with setting up the limiting value or percentage for every class of item, under each classification methodology adopted by the organization. The various classification methodologies used by the organization are ABC Analysis, FSN Analysis , VED Analysis and XYZ Analysis.

This activity allows you to set up the limiting value and also provides other options listed below:

• Allow or disallow the part filters to update part classification details in the “Part Administration” business component.

•  Select the valuation method for revenue type components.

The system updates the details and sets the “Last Modified By” and “Last Modified Date” fields to the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date. Click here to know more on "Setting stock analysis parameters".
