Entering the stock status / component condition allowed for the warehouse
In this page, you can specify the statuses that are allowed for stocks in the warehouse. Tell me more
Select the “Select Stock Status / Condition Allowed” link at the bottom of the “Create Warehouse Information” page or the “Edit Stock Status Allowed / Condition” link at the bottom of the “Edit Warehouse Information” page.
The “Edit Warehouse – Stock Status / Condition Allowed” page appears.
Note: Upon launching this page, the system lists the all the stock statuses defined in the “User-defined Stock Status” business component.
The system displays the following fields in the “Warehouse Information” group box:

The warehouse for which the stock statuses and the component conditions must be identified. |
Warehouse Category |
The category to which the warehouse belongs. |
Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
Check one or more of the following boxes in the “Allowable Component Conditions” group box, to specify the component conditions that are allowed in the warehouse:
New |
If components in “New” condition can be stocked in the warehouse. |
Unserviceable |
If components in “Unserviceable” condition can be stocked in the warehouse. |
Serviceable |
If components in “Serviceable” condition can be stocked in the warehouse. |
Phased-Out |
If components in “Phased - Out” condition can be stocked in the warehouse. |
Overhauled |
If components in “Overhauled” condition can be stocked in the warehouse. |
Note: 1) If none of the boxes are checked, then all the components irrespective of their condition can be stocked in the warehouse. 2) You cannot deselect any of the check boxes, if the warehouse is not currently offline.
The system lists all the user-defined stock statuses, defined in the “User Defined Stock Status” business component, in the “Stock Status Details” multiline:

Applicable |
Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, if you wish to allow the status for the stocks in the warehouse. The system provides the options “Yes” and “No”. Note: You can modify this field from Yes to No only if the warehouse is not currently offline. |
Click the “Edit Stock Status Allowed” pushbutton to update the list of user-defined status and component conditions allowed for the stocks in the warehouse.
Entering the stock status allowed for the warehouse – An overview
In this page, you can specify the statuses that are allowed for stocks in the warehouse. For example, you can prevent parts of type “Scrap” from being issued from the warehouse or returned to the warehouse. The system lists all the user-defined stock statuses defined in the “User defined stock status” business component, from which you can select the stock statuses that are allowed in the warehouse.
You can also specify the component conditions that are allowed in the warehouse.

The system displays all the user-defined stock statuses defined in the “User defined stock status” business component, from which you can select the stock statuses that are allowed in the warehouse.
Set the “Applicable” field to “Yes” if you wish to allow the status for the stock in the warehouse.
Set the “Applicable” field to “No” if you do not wish to allow the status for the stock in the warehouse.
Click the “Edit Stock Status Allowed” pushbutton to update the user-defined status allowed for the stocks in the warehouse.

You can specify the component conditions that are allowed in the warehouse.
Check the appropriate boxes in the “Allowable Component Conditions” group box, to specify the component conditions that are allowed in the warehouse.
