Entering the part types allowed for the warehouse
This page allows you to select the part types such as components and spare parts, that can be stored in the warehouse. Tell me more
Select the “Select Part Types Allowed” link at the bottom of the “Create Warehouse Information” page or the “Edit Part Types Allowed” link at the bottom of the “Edit Warehouse Information” page
The “Warehouse – Part Types Allowed” page appears.
Note: Upon launching this page, the system lists all the part types defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
The system displays the following fields in the “Warehouse Information” group box:

The warehouse for which the part types must be identified. |

The category to which the warehouse belongs. |
Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
The system lists the part classification in the “Part Classification Details” multiline:
Part Classification |
The part classification that is defined in the “Part Administration” business component. The system retrieves and displays in the order of “Repairable”, “Non-Repairable”, “Rotable” and “Controllable” |
Note: Part Classification can be unmapped from the warehouse only if the part is not available in the warehouse stock as defined in the “Stock Maintenance” business component.
If the Part Classification is set as “None” or not defined in the “Part Administration” business component, the part is classified as “Non-Repairable”.
Enter the following in the “Part Classification Details” multiline:

Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes” if you wish to allow the part classification to be stored in the warehouse. The system provides the options “Yes” and “No”. Note: You can modify this field from Yes to No only if the warehouse is not currently offline. The system displays the last saved value or “No” by default. |

The system lists all the part types that are defined in the “Part Administration” business component, from which you can specify whether the part types can be stored in the warehouse.
Set the “Applicable” field to “Yes” if you wish to allow the part type to be stored in the warehouse.
Set the “Applicable” field to “No” if you do not wish to allow the part type to be stored in the warehouse
Click the “Edit Part Types Allowed” pushbutton to update the part types allowed in the warehouse.
